another beautiful portrait from laura sanders has arrived this week. we have raved about laura's paintings in previous blogs. we cannot get enough of her work. she recently was the recipient of the 2011 greater columbus arts council individual artist fellowship award. her paintings were included in a group exhibition at the columbus museum of art in ohio.

she is working on a new body of work that does not include water which has been her focus the last couple of years. we are very excited to get new paintings by laura in the upcoming year! we will keep you posted. she is still taking a limited number of portrait commissions through hidell brooks gallery so please do not hesitate to call us if you are intersted or have questions about the portrait process.
