happy new year! we have been busy around hidell brooks gallery getting ready for the big expansion. the first phase of re-doing the existing viewing room and store room was completed right before christmas. new carpet was laid down and everything painted a beautiful bright white! the new bathroom floor did not arrive in time so we are making do with concrete for now.

we moved all the art out of the store room and back in all in the same week. it was a bit crazy but we are very organized now. here are the empty bins and all the art in the gallery.

now the gallery is empty again and the walls are coming down next week. we will be here unless we cannot breathe from all the plaster dust! we are working with daniel stowe botanical garden this week getting ready for an exhibition of collages by arless day at the gardens called art and orchids. more on that next week. one last image of hidell brooks.
