we think it is pretty well known fact how much we adore all of our artists and their work.  hidell brooks gets so excited when new work comes into the gallery it is equivalent to christmas all the time.

hidell brooks is super excited for our summer opening of two new solo exhibitions this friday for sally king benedict and kate long stevenson.  new paintings by both southern artists include works on canvas and paper.

we are thrilled to be representing the beautiful paintings by atlanta artist kiki slaughter.  kiki grew up in charlottesville, va and studied art at the university of virginia. 

both artist's new bodies of work are arriving at the gallery today and all images are on our website under their artist tab.

a big congratulations to gallery artist susan mcalister for receiving a merit award for her landscape paintings included in SCOPE: the southern landscape.

summer in the carolinas means you either go to the mountains or the beach for vacay.  we are very fortunate we have both only a short car ride away.

a wonderful overview of the chicgo art scene from museums to galleries is featured in arts & antique magazine including a painting by gallery artist julia katz.  hidell brooks has always been an avid fan of the chicago based painter.

hidell brooks had a wonderful visit this past week with gallery artist page davis.  page has been busy in her south carolina studio.
